The Vanity Edit

A vanity is not a display and it is not an archive. It is a small working surface where you need to see accurately, reach what you use daily, and put things away without resenting it. Almost every vanity problem is one of those three, and only one of them is solved by buying more storage.

So the light comes first and takes half the budget. What looks right under a warm bathroom bulb does not look right outdoors, and a mirror that renders colour properly is the only object here that changes the result rather than the process.

The second half of this edit is the top layer. An ice roller that earns its freezer space, silk scrunchies parked where ponytails are decided, one brush good enough to leave out, and a hundred hours of candle. None of them are storage. All of them are the reason the vanity gets used.
